Hi guys !!
I'm sorry I didn't take some time to update my journal at least... I have to admit I'm kind of busy now I'm working on 2 manga comics at the same time =_= ... How foolish of me, especially since I was the one to ask for this, LOL !!

Anyway, as always, I update my journal twice in a year but I really hope to do it more often... But this is no easy task here =_= .
By the way, what is the meaning of this journal title and why do I suddenly have this need to write something here, heh ?! ^_^ To tell you the truth, I have many things to celebrate so, let's get started !!
First of all, I celebrated weeks ago my mere existence as a man of 31 years old now... Yeah, sorry for not telling this event to you earlier but I didn't see why soemone would give a damn about the embarrassing fact I'm getting older and older ^_^ . Plus, I'm not the kind to get that excited about this so... On the contrary...
Then, what is the meaning of such a title you may ask ?! Everybody already knows I'm poor but now this is even worst, LOL ... That's my fault I admit it since I decided to get my hands on the new Wacom tablet, I mean the Cintiq 12"... It's more like I've fallen in love with ^_^ . Despite the price (1800 $), I have bought it and here it is a picture of the packaging :

Quite impressive... But for that price I was afraid to be deeply disappointed about the tablet itself... But my fears went away as soon as I made some tests with it. Drawing on a screen is on another level than actually doing it with a classic Wacom Intuos 3 !! Well, that's in my opinion. I'm totally amazed by such a technology !!! I feel I can draw faster thanks to this...

Oh well, maybe am I just saying that because of the price I had to spend for the sake of my curiosity =_= .
Except that, it's been nearly 2 years I've been working as a mangaka artists now and I feel I have learnt a lot from this experience. Always trying to get better and faster !! I remember I even succeeded to draw at least 80 pages in a month for the release of 3rd issue of our BB Project comics !! °_° In the end, I thought I was going to be crazy but hey, I guess I needed some rest after all... ^_^ But the real problem is I'm still working on it on all of my own, so that's kind of hard I must say. I may need some assistant just like this one, lol :

Since I'm talking about our BB Project comics, my publisher submitted, late in February 2008, our work to participate in the Second International Manga Award (wich took place in Japan)... And guess what ? Even though I didn't want to believe this, I got into the finalists !! ^_^ 368 submissions from all over the world and 16 finalists... And I was part of them... Obviously, I didn't get the golden prise nor the silver one, I got the bronze one ^_^ ... You have to know that only one person can get the golden prize, 3 can get the silver one and 12 people can get the bronze (16 finalists as I said)!! I was among the 12... I'm kind of stasified because I could get some recognition from the Japanese for our work, that's really encouraging especially for someone like me who has no real confidence in himself. I'll receive a certificate later to aknowledge I got this far in the competition but... Deeply in myself, I'm just a bit sad and so sorry for my friends who thought of higher expectations from me. I just can apologize for this.
But this may just be a sign to tell me I have to work harder to continue to improve !! Yay, that's the spirit !!
Otherwise, that's cool to know Japanese can appreciate "global mangas" (term used to describe mangas made by non Japanese artists) ^_^ .
