This is a fanart of the character Saki from the Oane Chanbara 2 game on the PS2. Well, if you don't know about this game I guess this is because this game is popular in Japan but not really elsewhere... Anyway, I wanted to do a fanart because it's been a while I didn't feel this hardcore gamer spirit in myself when playing a game!! ^_^ It was so good I succeeded to unlock all the bonus in the game.
So, if you like hack'n slash games with zombies and playing as a woman wearing a bikini and wielding a katana... I guess you'll have fun with it!! ^_-
About the drawing itself, Saki is the little sister of the main character of the game but she seems to be the most violent, lol!! She can even do suplex to zombies... Otherwise, I wanted to show the character on an amount of zombie corpses... yay, I could add some blood on her katana and her clothes but I think it wouldn't look that cool after that ^_^ . By the way, it's rare for me to do CG on a little resolution (300 dpi)... And to tell you the truth, I didn't intend to get this far... At the beginning, I just wanted to draw the girl alone but I thought it could be fun to put some zombies from the game ^_^ ... That's why this is a bit gore and have the "mature" mention on it.
Haha!! Now I have to buy the next game (Oane Chanbara Vortex) on XBOX360... Though I don't have an asian XBOX 360 =_= !!!
I just hope it won't hurt sensitive people, lol ^_^ ...

Shonen, the revival of an hardcore gamer...

Hi! I had this in my favorite section for a long time now. Every time I open up my favorites its always this piece that get clicked. I think it's the color and composition that sells it. it' not the best drawing in terms of detail and detail, it's not bad. But you really nailed the atmosphere and attitude and feeling of it. I'm rambling. Just thought I should let you know this drawing still caught's my eyes.
